Auction for Bannerman Island

Bannerman Island has invited painters to capture its landscape on Saturday, June 2, with the resulting works auctioned the following week as a fundraiser. A tour boat will take visitors to the island at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to watch the painters at work.

The auction will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, at 150 Main St. in Beacon, during Second Saturday. For tickets, see bannermancastle.org.
