Beacon celebrated the beginning of the holiday season at Memorial Park on a chilly Nov. 25 with hot chocolate, coffee, doughnuts, cookies and performances by students from the Yanarella School of Dance, followed by members of the Dutchess Dance Company, who presented “Waltz of the Flowers” from The Nutcracker.
