ALL ABOARD — An all-new trolley, the first hybrid in Putnam County’s transportation fleet, began plying Philipstown’s roads over Memorial Day weekend. The distinctive green bus can carry 32 passengers and has improved air conditioning, a stop-request system for passengers and external digital signage. The $2 exact-change fare remains the same, with a $1 discount for seniors, students and people with disabilities. Federal funds covered 80 percent of its $237,000 cost. (Photo provided)
