Library friends distribute store proceeds

Beacon Reads, the bookstore operated by the Friends of the Howland Public Library, will not be accepting donations until the second week of April. Proceeds from the store, which is staffed by volunteers and located adjacent to the library on Main Street, fund a variety of activities.
