Beacon burger joint closes after eight years

After eight years, at least two TV appearances and thousands of grass-fed burgers, Poppy’s in Beacon has closed. Its owner and chef Paul Yeaple said he’s selling the building and moving the restaurant from Beacon to another yet-to-be-determined location in the Hudson Valley.
