Residents should expect little or no water pressure on March 29

The Cold Spring water and highway departments will be working on Garden Street, in the vicinity of No. 30, on Wednesday, March 28, to repair a leak in the water main.

Residents of Garden Street can expect to have little or no water pressure between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. In addition, there will be no through traffic allowed on the street. Local traffic will be permitted from either end so residents can have access, although access may be interrupted to move equipment or materials.

When work is completed, and the water main re-pressurized, there may be a period of discoloration on Garden Street and the surrounding area. The extent and duration is not known. Residents are advised to run their cold water taps until clear.
