Exhibit looks at home and heritage

The theme of migration and searching for heritage and home unites the artists in Roots — From Berlin to Beacon at the Howland Cultural Center. It will open with a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4. Works by German-born artists Bibiana Huang Matheis, Helga Schuhr, Ilse Schreiber-Noll and Silke Konschak address their feelings of being between cultures. The exhibit is on view until Dec. 3.
