Restaurant would open near Walmart

The Chick-fil-A fast-food chain has presented plans to the Town of Fishkill Planning Board to open a restaurant on Route 9 at the site of the former Boston Market near Walmart.

The chain told the board on Thursday (Nov. 14) that it would demolish the building and construct a 5,400-square-foot structure with a drive-thru. The restaurant would have 78 seats inside and 16 outdoors and be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily except Sunday. The drive-thru could handle up to 44 cars at a time, the chain said.
