GOATS RETURN — Chocolate and Chip are back on the job behind Haldane High School. The invasive species munching goats returned on May 19 to finish cleaning out space for an expanded pollinator garden. Partly funded by the Haldane School Foundation, the project is sponsored by the school’s habitat revival club. Earlier this month, the project won the club a Greenlight Award from Bedford 2030, a Westchester-based environmental group. The club’s short video featuring the goats also recently won an honorable mention from National Geographic’s Slingshot Challenge. (Photo by Joey Asher)
