Depot Theatre kicks off Dialogues with Drama

The Philipstown Depot Theatre in Garrison kicks off Dialogues with Drama, a series of provocative play readings, on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. with Eugene Ionesco’s Rhinoceros. Each reading will be followed by a discussion with the cast.

Rhinoceros was written in 1959 and performed on Broadway. It follows a clerk who sees the people around him become rhinos. Ionesco was a Romanian-French playwright who helped shape the genre that became known as the Theatre of the Absurd. Christine Bokhour directs and will lead the discussion. A donation of $20 is suggested. Reserve seats at brownpapertickets.com.
