Launches with David Torn on March 24

The guitarist David Torn will perform at the Howland Cultural Center in Beacon at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 24, as the first in a series of concerts produced by Elysium Furnace Works.

Admission will be $20 at the door. The cultural center is located at 477 Main St.

Elysium Furnace Works is a cooperative led by Mike Faloon, James Keepnews and Steve Ventura. In addition to Torn’s performance, it will present concerts on April 20 (Karl Berger/Ingrid Sertso Quintet), May 4 (Fly or Die at St. Andrew’s Church) and May 26 (Jason Kao Hwang Trio).
