Dutchess Vet Named to Hall of Fame

Adam Roche among 49 honorees

State Sen. Sue Serino, whose district includes the Highlands, on Tuesday (Nov. 24) named Adam Roche, director of the Dutchess County Division of Veterans Services and a former Marine, to the New York State Senate Veterans’ Hall of Fame.

Roche was among 49 honorees for 2020. He enlisted in 2000 and, following his discharge, was named manager of the Vet2Vet program operated by the Mental Health Association of Dutchess County. Roche was hired by Dutchess County in July.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, the induction ceremony was held virtually.
