The Putnam County Department of Health is offering seasonal flu vaccine to residents of Putnam County 19 years of age and older. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY.

  • Wednesday, September 15 Garrison Fire Department 2:00pm — 6:30pm 1616 Route 9, Garrison
  • Monday, September 20 Carmel Fire Department 2:00pm — 6:30pm Route 52 & Vink Drive, Carmel
  • Thursday, October 14 Garrison Fire Department 2:00pm — 6:30pm 1616 Route 9, Garrison
  • Wednesday, October 20 Carmel Fire Department 2:00pm — 6:30pm Route 52 & Vink Drive, Carmel

Cost: $20.00 (60 and older or with Medicare Card — FREE)

Pneumonia Vaccine is free for those over age 65. For those under age 65 who need a pneumonia vaccine, cost is $45.00 and a physician’s prescription is required.
       The Putnam County Health Department will also be offering High Dose Flu Vaccine for seniors age 65 and older. Studies have shown this vaccine appears to be more effective in fighting flu in seniors.

Please bring proof of Putnam County residency (Driver’s License). Anyone 18 years of age or younger should receive their flu and/or pneumonia vaccine from their private healthcare provider.
