Joined by veterans and representatives of the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH), in a ceremony at the VFW building, the Town Board June 17 proclaimed Philipstown an official Purple Heart Town. The audience included local veterans Bill Baxter, left, Ed Engelbride, Terry Lahey, Roger Keppel and Phil Schatzle.
