Tony winner Sutton Foster hosts gala

Fresh from a performance with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center, Tony-winning actress Sutton Foster will kick off the 2015-16 Half Moon Theatre season at The Culinary Institute in Hyde Park at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 26.

Foster has performed in 11 Broadway shows including The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony-winning performances in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. She stars in the TV Land series Younger.

Gala tickets are $40 to $200, with proceeds supporting the theater, School of the Arts scholarships, education programs and a new play-reading series. To purchase, call 800-838-3006 or visit halfmoontheatre.org.
