Brother Francis Gutman, SA, a Franciscan Friar of the Atonement, died on July 24, 2016. A mass of Christian Burial was held on July 28, with interment in Friars’ Cemetery at Graymoor.
Alfred S. Villani (1952-2016)
Alfred S. Villani, 63, of Cold Spring, died on Aug. 5, 2016. He was born on Sept. 23, 1952, in the Bronx to Salvatore and Matilda (Vassallo) Villani. On June 26, 1976, he married Pamela Corrigan.
Villani was a senior investigator for the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department and a member of the Brewster Police Department. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Michael, Alfred Jr. (AJ) and Joseph, grandchildren Cole, Sienna, Joseph Jr. (JJ) and Sophia, and two sisters, Joanne Weiland and Lydia Mirko.
A service was held on Aug. 12 with interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
Anna M. Winters
Anna “Ann” M. (Heinrich) Winters, 84, of Simsbury, Conn., died Aug. 2, 2016. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she was the eldest daughter of Rudolph and Anna (Moser) Heinrich.
