Group will visit botanical garden
The Howland Cultural Center will lead a day trip on Tuesday, Aug. 8, aboard an air-conditioned motor coach to the New York Botanical Garden to see an exhibit of Dale Chihuly’s glass sculptures.
The bus will leave from the Yankee Clipper parking lot at 9 a.m. and return about 6 p.m. Tickets are $70 ($65 for members), which includes transportation and admission. Call 845-831-4988.
