GUFS 2011 graduating class

On Thursday, June 24, Garrison School’s eighth grade Class of 2011 celebrated their Commencement Exercises while family, friends, faculty and staff looked on.  As each of the 29 graduates entered, Garrison Superintendent Gloria Colucci and Principal Stephanie Impelletiere spoke of his or her unique attributes and achievements.  Colucci went on to welcome students, faculty, staff, retiring teachers, parents and family, community members and alumni.  Her address focused on the graduates’ numerous group and individual successes in the areas of academics, music, theatre, athletics, volunteerism and community spirit.  The Superintendent closed by speaking about the theme of “Together” and the Class of 2011.
