50 artists throw open their doors

Today and tomorrow May 3 and 4 the burgeoning Beacon artists community opens up its collective creative lairs to display work, discuss process and presumably make some sales.

Friday night saw a display of a representative group of artist’s work at an opening party at Hudson Beach Glass. The glass making and retail sales emporium at 162 Main St. is a good place to start off the tour. You can pick up a guide there as well as see some of the artist’s work.

The tour runs from noon to 6 p.m. both days. Go to beaconopenstudios.org for more information.
