Beacon-to-Cold Spring event benefits Support Connection

On Saturday, Sept. 10, at Long Dock Park in Beacon, the Hudson River Watertrail Association will host Paddle for a Cure to benefit Support Connection, which provides support to women with cancer.

The nine-mile, current-assisted Poker Paddle route flows down a beautiful stretch of the river: launching from Long Dock, past Bannerman’s Island and finishing at Dockside Park in Cold Spring for the post-paddle party.

Paddlers (kayaks, canoes, standup paddleboards) are welcome to participate as individuals or in teams. To register, visit brownpapertickets.com. The cost is $65 in advance or $75 on the day of the event, which begins at 9 a.m.
