Concert set for April 30 at Howland Center

The Alexander String Quartet, a San Francisco ensemble known for its interpretations of Beethoven, Mozart, Shostakovich and Brahms, will perform at the Howland Cultural Center at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, as part of the ongoing Howland Chamber Music Circle series.

The group will play String Quartet in B-flat Major, K 589 by Mozart, String Quartet No.1 in D Major, Opus 25 by Benjamin Britten, and String Quartet in E Minor, Opus 59 No.2 “Razumovsky” by Beethoven. Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for students at howlandmusic.org.
