Educator to discuss nature camp on Maine island
Haldane garden educator and elementary school librarian Carolyn Llewelyn will speak at the Butterfield Library in Cold Spring on Sunday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m. about her experience of living on an island in Maine last summer during an Audubon Society workshop for educators.
Llewelyn was the recipient of a scholarship from the Putnam Highlands Audubon Society to attend “Sharing Nature: An Educator’s Week” and spent six days at the historic Hog Island Audubon Camp in Muscongus Bay.
The free presentation will be illustrated with slides. See putnamhighlandsaudubon.org.
