The Beacon resident, who is a graduate of Skidmore College, teaches journalism at Marist University and was formerly director of alumni relations at The Storm King School. In addition to The Current, he has written for Hudson Valley Parent, Organic Hudson Valley, The Times Herald-Record and Chronogram.
